Individual work
Education’s impact on reducing social vulnerability is the core of this proposal. Community engagement and contact with nature become tools to strengthen
neighborhood bonds. The creation of quality public spaces collectivizes the access to educational programs for different age groups and social classes.
Two squares with multiple skilling programs instruct the community about recycling, cultivating urban gardens for food security, and educating adults
with opportunities to increase household income. Providing outdoor leisure options and creating environmental awareness improves the region’s sense
of belonging and care, reflecting on the maintenance and activation of the public realm.
